Here’s an idea for a costume using RADglow lights. We’re going to add a LED strip to the coat worn by Cruella de Vil, in Disney’s classic “101 Dalmatians.”
This coat is perfect for adding lights! The outer fur lining is separate from the coat, which means it will hold the LEDs in place without sliding around.
Like our scarves, the soft faux fur in this coat diffuses the LED light, creating a soft warm movement. One light strip can go around the front lapels on both sides, while a second light strip can go along the coat’s bottom.
You can use 2 batteries, 1 for each Bubble Light strip. Or, use a one-USB-plug-to-two-USB-plugs adapter cable like the one at this Amazon link: HIGHROCK USB 2.0 A Male plug to 2 USB A Female Y Splitter Hub Adapter Cable
Using the cable will mean less weight on the top of the coat. But the battery life will be half as long. It all depends on what your priorities are.
Me, I tend to go with less weight on my neck. Extra batteries slip easily into my purse.
